The training Workshop for Administrators of Cultural Institutions was organised during the first quarter at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region. The report of the workshop has been submitted by the lead consultant and has been annexed to this report. The workshop on scriptwriting took place at Akosombo from November 27th to December 2nd 2008. It was attended by 25 participants. The Lead Consultant was Mr. Efo Mawugbe of the National Theatre who was assisted by four prominent personalities in the field of scriptwriting for radio, theatre and television. A full
report is expected soon. The Training Workshop for Journalists took place at Akosombo from January 29 to February 2nd 2009. It was attended by 25 journalists dawn from the electronic and print media. The workshop was addressed by seasoned journalists and experts in culture. A full report is annexed to this report. The Training Workshop on Art and Crafts took place at Bolgatanga from XXX to XXX. It was attended by 30 participants drawn from all over Ghana although nearly 50 percent of the participants attended from the three northern regions. The concentration was on leather, textiles and basketry. A full report is attached to this report.
