Conference on Highlife:
The Lead consultant for this event, Mr. Ben Brako provided a background paper that used to set the broad terms of reference for the resource persons and also to set the objectives and deliverables of the conference. The list of participants has been finalised and a date has been set for late April to hold the conference.
African African Culture Capital:
Following the formation of the Accra Culture and Arts Network (Accra CAN) in October 2008, the recommended to the Technical Committee that the work on the idea of the Culture Capital should henceforth be
conducted in tandem with Accra CAN. This was agreed but the Technical Committee recommended that the Ministry of Culture and Chieftaincy Affairs could help with the arrangements for meeting the African envoys through the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
